Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
CoinBettors is a review site. You don’t need an account to use it, we don’t run a newsletter, and we never ask for your name, ID or payment details. This policy explains the small amount of data we do handle, why, and what you can do about it.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data?
CoinBettors (coinbettors.net) is operated by Rankblitz Ltd., a company registered in Malta, which is the data controller for this website.
For anything about your data, email info@coinbettors.net.
What Data Do We Collect?
Server and security logs
Like every website, our server records technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page and the time of the request. Our host uses this data to keep the site running and to block bots and attacks, which can include short security checks and cookies that tell a real visitor from a bot.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to understand which pages people read and how they find us:
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to count visits and sessions. It records pages viewed, approximate location (country and city level, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses. We only load its cookies if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics measures page views without cookies and without storing personal identifiers.
Affiliate links
Links to casinos and sportsbooks on this site go through our own redirect links (addresses starting with coinbettors.net/link/). When you click one, we count the click. The operator or its affiliate network then records that you arrived from CoinBettors, usually with a cookie or tracking ID on their own website, so they can pay us a commission if you sign up.
Operators report back to us in anonymised or pseudonymised form: a player ID, sign-up date and activity totals used to calculate commission. They don’t give us your name, email address or identity documents, and we never ask for them. Once you’re on an operator’s site, its own privacy policy applies.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and, if you report a problem with a site we review, to check it.
Embedded content
Some pages show embedded posts from X (formerly Twitter). Embedded content behaves as if you’d visited X directly, and X may set cookies and collect data about you, particularly if you’re logged in to X.
Why Do We Use It, and on What Legal Basis?
- Running and securing the site (server logs, security checks): our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
- Google Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings link on the site.
- Cookieless analytics and affiliate click counting: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and in being paid for referrals, which is how we fund the site.
- Replying to your emails: our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Legal obligations: where the law requires us to keep or disclose data.
We don’t sell your data, we don’t use it for advertising profiles, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.
Who Do We Share It With?
- SiteGround, our hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs in the EU.
- Google (Google Analytics), if you accept analytics cookies.
- Ahrefs (cookieless web analytics).
- Casino and sportsbook operators and their affiliate networks, which receive the referral when you click an affiliate link.
- X, when you view a page with an embedded post.
- Authorities, if the law requires it, and a buyer or successor if the site is ever sold.
Is Your Data Transferred Outside the EU?
Some of the providers above, including Google and X, may process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How Long Do We Keep It?
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Server and security logs: for the limited period our host keeps them for security and troubleshooting.
- Emails: as long as we need them to deal with your message, and no longer than two years unless they relate to an ongoing issue.
- Affiliate reports: as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes.
What Are Your Rights?
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including anything based on our legitimate interests
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time, without affecting anything done before
Email info@coinbettors.net to use any of these rights. We’ll reply within one month. Because we hold so little personal data, we may need details from you, such as the email address you wrote from, to find anything at all.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Our lead authority is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt), and you can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
How Do You Control Cookies?
You can accept or reject analytics cookies in our cookie banner and change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking our security cookies may mean you’re shown a verification check more often.
Age Restriction
CoinBettors is about gambling and is only for adults aged 18 or older, or older where local law requires. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, email us and we’ll delete the data.
Links to Other Websites
We link to casinos, sportsbooks and other websites we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we recommend reading the privacy policy of any site before you sign up, particularly as gambling operators collect identity and payment data for KYC checks.
Changes to This Policy
We’ll update this policy when our tools or practices change, and change the date at the top when we do.
