The Welcome Bonus, and a Contradiction Worth Checking
The mechanic here is unusual: the bonus is not credited up front. You deposit, wager 80x the deposit, and only then does the 100% match land in your account as fully withdrawable cash with no further conditions.
Worked through: deposit 5,000 USDT, wager 400,000 USDT, receive 5,000 USDT you can withdraw immediately.
Now the problem. Betplay’s own FAQ describes a completely different offer:

Three deposits, 250% total, with seven days to claim and thirty days to complete, and no wagering multiplier stated anywhere. The 80x figure appears in neither the FAQ nor the Terms.

How Fast Are Betplay.io Deposits and Withdrawals?
No Operator Fee
The FAQ is direct: Betplay charges no withdrawal fees. What you pay is the blockchain network fee, selectable as Low, Medium or High priority, with the amount shown before you confirm.
Betplay’s own recommendation is to use Lightning or Liquid for Bitcoin, which sidesteps transaction fees almost entirely. That puts it alongside DuckDice as one of only two sites in this review set taking nothing on the way out.

No Currency Exchange
Stated in the Terms: Betplay offers no currency exchange services, and you may only withdraw in the same currency you deposited. Deposit in USDT, withdraw in USDT. Plan your coin choice accordingly.

The Clauses That Take Your Balance
Two separate provisions in the Terms remove money from accounts that have done nothing wrong. Both are worth reading in full before you deposit.
Six Months Idle Takes the Whole Balance
Clause 15:
Definition: An account is considered inactive if there is no activity for six (6) consecutive months. Deduction: After six months of inactivity, we will deduct the account balance.
Not a percentage. The balance. WSM takes 10% a month and at least leaves something behind for a while; Betplay takes the lot in one go.
The mitigations are real but require action from you: 14 days’ email notice before it happens, prevention by making a deposit, placing a wager or starting a withdrawal, and 10 days to appeal a deduction you think is wrong. Any preventive deposit still carries the 1x wagering rule.
Permanent Closure Forfeits Your Money
Clause 6, filed under Responsible Gaming:
An account that is permanently closed forfeits the remaining account balance and any future cashback or bonus payments that is added to the account balance.
Read that as what it is. A player who decides to stop permanently has to withdraw everything first or lose it, and the Terms put the responsibility squarely on them to complete all transactions before closing.
Temporary closure is available at a minimum of one week, arranged by emailing support, during which the account cannot be reopened for any reason. That one does not forfeit anything.
DuckDice does the same thing with its Decoy tokens. Betplay does it with cash, which is worse.
Other Terms Worth Knowing
- Multiple accounts per household, IP or subnet are discarded without warning, with no right to any refund of deposits or bets
- Threats or harassment toward staff can mean a permanent block and confiscation of funds. Racism, insults and chat advertising can trigger a ban
- Bonus abuse or bug exploitation means termination with funds confiscated, decided at Betplay’s discretion after investigation
- Third-party bots or automation tools can mean withdrawals held and winnings confiscated
- 14-day refund right on unused Betplay balance, provided it has not been used in any bets or tips. Consumer-style and rare in this segment
- 100% refund on verifiable technical failures during a bet, across all games
- Terms changes come with 14 days’ notice and a login notification
Restricted Territories

That is a company registration. It is not a gaming licence, and it involves no gambling regulator of any kind.
Search the Terms, the FAQ and the footer and there is no licence number, no named regulator and no appeals body. Governing law is Costa Rica, whose courts hold exclusive jurisdiction, and disputes are to be resolved informally with the company first.
Set that against the rest of this review set. DuckDice publishes Anjouan ALSI-202509013-FI1 and names Anjouan Licensing Services Inc as an escalation route. BC.GAME publishes ALSI-202410011-FI1. WSM publishes Curaçao OGL/2024/1718/0938 and names its licensing body for complaints. Even the weakest operators we have reviewed name a regulator. Betplay names none.
